    Greetings!

    I am sorry if that may sound lame, but I cannot grasp the way library minor fixes are issued. Is it something everybody do internally in VI PRO? Cause my machine is totally offline, and with the recent MIR update which brought tons of performance improvements - I felt really dumb learning about it on a forum, by mere chance.

    Now, I realize, that PRO and MIR software may be monitored in my User Area by checking out the dates, and build number is there - but what about the libraries? Even if the files date somewhat changes (as discussed in another thread recently) - its the complete lib download link anyway - so down with my general concern, are minor patch fixes are SO rare, that they are virtually nonexistent in User Area besides that DVD legacy stuff - or there is some under the hood internal update which done by VI PRO which I totally miss by being offline?

    Hi Vlad, 

    Library Updates are indeed extremely rare, luckily, as most fixes were already done in the DVD products - so the Download Files are up to date and in an excellent state. 

    Library Updates are Library Updates, Software Updates "only" take care of software issues (and it makes sense to stay up to date to benefit from additional features and bug fixes).

    Still, since you were the person helping me out the only time I`ve found a minor problem in a patch (SE woodwinds alto flute legato if you remember, last august), I would put it that way - just in case it does happen, and for instance that particular alto flute, OR, if some mismatch notes get fixed in Dimension Violins - in which screen of the User Area would those patches reside? You`ve sent me some files once, but I feel really stupid, being unaware of where are they by regular basis?

    Hi Vlad,

    For Single Instruments, they are here: User Area=> Single Instruments => Library Updates (most from 2011).

    Special Editions: User Area => Special Editions => Updates for legacy Special Editions.

    VI Collections: (right now only DVD Library Updates)

    Do I need to download all of the dvd/instrument libraries since they were all updated on June 23, 2013?

    Does that also apply to the RoomPacks? I see they also have new files dated 23 June. Must we re-download them or not?

    No need to re-download the RoomPacks, only the Download Manager Files have been updated, as we have improved the download system (with many new servers).
