  • VE5 doesn't recognize VI Pro2 ?

    I need help :)

I just installed  the Vienna Ensemble Pro 5.1.12219 update on my MAC Slave computer and when I started it it doesn't seem to give me an option to insert a Vienna Instruments Pro instance.

Everything works fine on my Master Mac.

    Thanks

    Felix

  • Hi Felix,

Did you try re-installing VI pro?

  • Hi Fred, thank you for your reply.

I did install VI pro 2.3.12173 but it still doesn't show up in VE pro5.  Here's a screenshot:

  • Hi,

Then I´d try to install both products again on your slave machine. We don´t have any reports of similar behaviour if all the latest version of our software are installed...

    Best,

  • Hi Paul thank you for your reply.

I uninstalled and re-installed both VEpro5 and VIpro2.3 but the problem didn't go away.  I then tried to start VIpro2 in standalone mode but a message saying that "the license for Vienna Instruments Pro couldn't be found" came up (see picture below):

  • The second screenshot seems to indicate that there' s simply no Vienna Instrument Pro license on this eLicenser ...?

  • Wow, I just realized that!   How can this be?   How can I fix this?  I do have licenses for VIpro2.  They are also listed in my User Area on the VSL website.  Do you have an idea how this can be fixed?

    Thank you

    Felix

  • Did you receive the activation code via Email?

Did you buy it with a different user account?

You simply never downloaded the licenses. I have sent the unused Activation Codes to your registered email address.

    Have a nice weekend!
