  • The Crown Coronation (C Trumpet demo)

This demo made me appreciate the C trumpet, so I was glad to do it.

It's back to the baroque/classical period.

    Hope you enjoy it!

  • at: 0:19-0:21 (that high note) a bit distorted

at: 0:41-0:42 (after the trill) does a trumpetplayer has enough breath for the loud next note after the trill?

at: 1:49 you have again a trill and the next note (no trill) sounds better, humanized, at almost the end of his breath, softer.

And then: a great demo!!!! and a great piece. Is it yours?

    Thank you for posting,

    Raymond

  • Thanks a lot guys! Yes, I wrote it. Glad you think it's good, I wasn't too confident about it being good.

  • I may add that stylistcally, it's a mix of many baroque guys I like.

  • And Handel's famous "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" was actually written much earlier by Telmann.
