  • String quartet nr. 2

Completed. Used VI (not pro), VE (not pro), Special Edition Strings vol 1 /vol 1 plus, Overture for notation and playback for audio per instrument, including all keyswitches and CC-settings. Next those audio files were input for SONAR getting the balance and volume a bit better, including Altiverb (the audio output from Overture wasn't reverbed).

I am still struggling getting the sound of those solo instruments a bit better, but so far, I think I succeeded quite well as a "beginner in Vienna".

    Hoperfully you enjoy the music,

    Raymond

  •  This is a major piece of work!  - also, the sound is very good.  Maybe a little more humanize on a few sections to get it looser?  But the music seems very good formally and in its use of the quartet, and developed very fully.

  • Many thanks, William. Glad you liked it.

    With regards,

    Raymond

  • That was amazing, Raymond (or should I say "Master Raymond") My favourite movement was the Adagio. Mark

  • Thank you very much, Mark. Did it help you getting your own sound a bit better? Tell me in your own thread and maybe I can help you further.
