VE Pro Tutorials?
can anyone point me to any good online tutorials for getting started with ve pro? i'm a pro tools user who is new to ve pro, and the official tutorials on this site are more like general overviews of what you CAN do, rather than specific tutorials on HOW to do it. the users manual seems to have written by the same monkeys who write most software manuals. i couldn't find anything pro tools-specific on youtube. so i'm hoping someone here might know of something. thank you!

Well if I was talented enough to do it, I would include VEP and Suite. I'd like to see effects and panning. I think there are a lot of wanna bees out there like myself who dont read music and never went to school but would love to see how a pro puts together an original peice. Heck I'd pay $199 bucks.

I would like to see a tutorial of someone creating a little peice. Selecting the samples. Setting up VIP with samples. Using Matrixes and dialing in all the applicable settings/controllers. I'd pay $99 bucks for such a beast.Did you check out the Special Edition Tutorials?

I think that, as someone who keeps hearing great things about VEPro from others but never quite got what the fuss was about, a tutorial would actually be a very helpful demonstration for me too because it will show me what it does in a practical setting. I have no need for multiple computers so if that's the only draw, then it's not for me, but I am sure there's more to it than that. If so, a tutorial would be very helpful for someone considering buying it while not being entirely sure of what it does in-practice. The descriptions on the site are one thing but we all know you can't judge a piece of software without seeing it in human hands.

I should change the old GUI to the new one.
If you are patient until Sunday evening you will see the little tutorial with the current GUI of VI.
All the best

Hi all
Here is the promised new short Tutorial "How to use VSL's Vienna Instrument".
You also have the possibility to download a PDF of it but I haden't the time to integrate the mp3 files. Also it isn't possible to enlarge the images with the pdf.
But you can read the pdf and use the PC for enlarging the pictures and listen to the music examples.

Although there doesn't seem to be much mention of VE Pro there. But still useful in its own way. Each DAW can do a lot what VE is able to do. So for collecting first experiences you will not need VE in most of the cases.
Of course VE has its advantages later on when you go further, with MIR etc...
Have fun
and all the best
