I still have little experience with the VI Pro 1 window which I'm using with Apple Logic 9.
I have been able to set up the drums plus cymbals and gongs. But I notice celestas are set up under keyboards. Can I set this up in the same track as the other percussion instruments and if so how would I do it? Or should I set up a separate track in Logic?
The celesta IS a keyboard, and has a 5 octive range. If you combine, it will paly along with all the notes for other percusion on the track.
Why haven't you upgraded to VI Pro 2?
I know about the celesta having played it in an opera production years back. But I still don't know how to combine the samples in the window.
The reason I don't have Vi Pro 2 is that when I bought 1, I was told, rightly or wrongly, that 1 answered to my needs and 2 didn't.
