  • [SOLVED] Can't solo midi tracks in my DAW using VE

    Not sure what I am doing wrong, I am sure its something simple. I have Kontakt loaded into VE Pro 5 routed into studio one. I connected all the midi channels to Kontakt using event input x64. When I try to solo a midi track in studio one it mutes everything. I have to go right into Kontakt to mute individual instruments. I am still new to this software. Does anybody know what I did wrong ? Thanks.

    need more detail. this is one instance of Kontakt? how is it routed in VE Pro.

    if you're saying that all the instrument channels corresponding with VE Pro are muted, I can't image what it is, but I have no experience with Studio One or Event Input.

    yeah, I've had consequences from muting one midi track I didn't understand right away too, which I attempted to describe but what I went into here initially wouldn't  be true per se.
