  • [SOLVED] Need help using Mir Pro with Sequoia

Hello! It´s my first posting here!

I´ve downloaded the trial of Mir Pro! I´m using Vienna Instruments Special Edition with Sequoia.

My project consists of several tracks, all with Vienna Instruments. I´ve read the Mir PlugIn manual but I don´t understand how to insert Mir Pro in this project. I tried to insert Mir in the first track - that works - but I don´t understand how I´ll get the other tracks into Mir Pro. There is only one instrument in Mir Pro and I´m not able to add more! What´s wrong?

Perhaps someone can tell me how to route the Mir Pro in Sequoia!? Where has it to be inserted etc.

    Thank you!

  • Welcome dschief,

Please insert MIR PRO into a second track, and a second MIR PRO instrument icon will appear in the MIR PRO engine.

    Best,

    Paul

  • That´s what I always tried to do but I get the message: "PlugIn disabled! Reason: Server busy! Please make sure there is no other audio application accessing the MIR Pro server, then re-insert the plugin."

Another question: Is it correct to insert MIR Pro at "Plugins" in the Mixer of Sequoia or is this wrong?

  • Hello dschief!

Inserting MIR Pro in the plugins section of the Sequoia mixer should work fine. Could it be that you are trying to insert MIR Pro from different Sequoia projects? Please notice that the instruments you want to add to MIR have to be in the same project.

    Best regards,
    Andi

  • All the VI I want to add to MIR are tracks of the same Sequoia project. The project consists of 27 tracks (wind orchestra), the first plugin is the VI, in addition I use VSL EQ, Limiter and Compressor and the last plugin should be the MIR Pro. But it doesn´t work!

  • Hello Andi, hello Paul!

Thank you for your support! I think I´ve solved the problem!

After installation of MIR Pro only the 32bit version of MIR Pro was available in Sequoia´s VST-directory. So I tried it with this one although the other VSL-Plugins and Sequoia run with 64bit. After scanning the right 64bit-directory of MIR Pro I could select this version in my VST-dropdown and everything worked perfectly!

    I´m sorry for this fault!

    Thanks

    dschief

  •  Great! Good to hear that you're up and running. :-) Enjoy MIR Pro!
