  • [SOLVED] Trying to purchase...

Hello there, Trying to make a purchase and running into problems it seems have come up before: the order is rejected and aborts the process. I'm attempting from the US, and have tried several different browsers, credit cards and Paypal. None of them work which makes me wonder if the problem might be with this website? I've also sent a note to the sales address, but have heard nothing. I really would like to purchase the products here, as the upgrade pricing beats anything I can get domestically. Please help. Thank you.

  • Hi KeyboardGuy,

We have received your messages and I´m sure our sales team will get back to you (quite busy here right now).

We are a rather small company in Austria, and sometimes transactions are blocked by credit card companies. Did you try to contact VISA and tell them that your order at the Vienna Symphonic Library is a legal order from you?

    Best,

    Paul

  • Oh yes, I did two different credit cards, both within and outside of the Paypal shell. The process seems to abort when the credit (i.e., credit card or Paypal) tries to hand-off the credit. I strongly suspect it's something in this website or in the e-commerce engine. In any case, because of multiple attempts that failed, my credit card company called me and I told them what I was attempting to do and they said they did not restrict foreign purchases (and they released a temporary hold). So, I tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox AGAIN -- with two credit cards in and out of Paypal. I think that's all the options I have. :-) I have an order to arrange, and I truly want to take advantage of a pricing that saves me a decent amount! Thanks for responding, William

  • Hello Paul et. al, All is well! After multiple unsuccessful attempts, two separate banks called me. I assured them that my VSL purchases were intended. I was able to complete two smaller orders with one card and the other was still declined. Turns out that the second bank had actually NOT released the hold properly. They even admitted it was their fault! So, with them on the phone, I tried the larger transaction on the second card again, and finally it went through! Moral of story: Your bank isn't always correct when they tell you something. :-) Thanks for all your help. Now I can begin work on new projects using my wonderful new VSL systems! -William K.
