  • Dimension strings

Hi, I just bought the Dimension Strings, so I guess this could be the first of many questions... I tried to load "all violins", but it's all greyed out. Does that mean that I don't have access? Everything under VI PRO is greyed out, (doesn't load), but not being able to load these bigger groups of players is a big problem for me. Thanks in advance Kyrre

  •  You need to right click, and Enable the Cell, Matrix or instrument you want to use...

    Hi,

This is actually a feature of VI PRO, so that you can load huge presets and only enable the articulations/matrices you need.

    • Click on a cell, this will enable it (load the samples in the background).
    • Right-click on a matrix (in the matrix list to the left), you can "enable" the whole matrix.
    • In "Settings" (the icon left to the Basic/Advanved View), you can also enable the whole instance and find additional options (like "Force Enabled Cells"or "Enable Cells on MIDI Activity").

Please see the VI PRO Manual for more information and check out the many video tutorials that also explain all the new features in detail:

Not sure what you mean by "presets", I assume it´s "instrument profiles": Yes, if you are working with the latest versions, of course!
