  • Do you have any experience with transfering "Cubase" on your vienna key?

Do you people keep your VSL Instruments seperate from your daws license or put them all in one key? I was thinking of transfering my Cubase 6 license to the VSL Key I am going to purchase. Not only do I have them all in one place, with a better overview but I also free some USB slots.

  • Mine are all on the same key.

  • Ditto. In fact, I recommend it. Got to be a pain wondering which license was on which key.

  • Put them all on my steinberg key or VSL Key? I wonder if quality wise they are the same or if one tends to fail more often than the other. I know I can transfer the license to my vsl key but is it also possible vice-versa?

  • Makes no difference. In any case as long as you buy a new key every couple of years, it is in warranty.

This is exactly what you should do and what I also do.  For now, put them all on the one that is newest, and has the most remaining warranty.

  • Anyways, even if I forget to buy a new key and im out of warranty I think replacement of licenses in case of a broken key will be really cheap considering that each full collection has only 2 licenses (20 dollars for each license). This is one huge reason I will never buy those single download libraries.
