  • Uninstalling a sample library

Hi, I would like to uninstall my fanfare trumpets standard library, but I don't know how to do this. I'm using a mac pro with osx 10.8.2. Could someone please help me?

  • You don't need to uninstall them. If you explain why you want to, I'll be able to tell you the best way to proceed.

  • The reason for this was as small as to only organize the folders in VI PRO's patch file browser. I installed the fanfare trumpets library years ago and it shows under a 'download instruments patches' folder. I thought that if I uninstall and reinstall it with the new Vienna Download Manager it will move to the folder 'C - Brass patches' where all my other brass instruments are. Now I'm not sure if it even would behave like this. Yesterday I installed the Flute 1 standard library and it went also to the 'download instruments patches' folder. A while ago I installed the Piccolo full library and it went to a 'B - Woodwind patches' folder. Are the full libraries of single wind instruments shown under these 'B...' and 'C...' folders and the standard libraries under the 'Download instruments paches' folder or what's the logic behind this?

  • Hi Sami,

Depending on the product (Instruments Collections, previously "DVD-Collections" or SPECIAL EDITIONS or SINGLE INSTRUMENTS (previously our only "Download Instruments)), the instruments will show up in the given structure.

    Best,
