mir pro and audio input

i have some audio tracks in cubase 7 and i route them to mir pro (thru ve pro input channels)... then back to cubase 7 (output-channels).. i presume, that the routing is correct.. now: i hear some cracks and pops.. what do i wrong? thank you.. grey

It is probably to do with either your soundcard buffer being set too low, or the MIR Pro buffer not being set high enough. Try one, then the other, and then both to see if it makes a difference.

dg.. thank you for your answer.. i changed the buffer size MIR and on my soundcard... but i have always the same problems (craks and pops).... i think, the problem is not the buffer.. all other routings on my two slaves and on local pc with VE Pro/VI Pro/MIR Pro/Kontakt 5 works fine... only with the audio inputs i have this problems... maybe the vsl team can help? thank you.

I used now the MIR pro PLUGIN: It works absolutly without problems with the plugin. Can now the vsl team explain, why without plugin (routing thru ve pro/mir pro and back to cubase) it dosent works? THANK YOU.

Hi Greystrom,

please tell us a bit more about the system you're experiencing these troubles with (CPU, RAM, LAN & video cards, operating system, software versions) and the settings you're using (system latency, MIR buffers etc.). In addition it might be helpful to know about any background applications running simultaneously, like virus protection, firewalls and so on.
