    I asked a question a few weeks ago which seemed to bring into question wheter I was using VEP5 and MIR properly.  I want to quickly outline my setup and see if you guys agree that I am doing it right (or wrong). 

    1.   Open VEP Server 64 bit

    2.   Open Sonar X1 (my DAW)

    3.   Assign VEP 64 as an effect in the first audio track FX bin in Sonar

    4.   Go to VEP5 and start adding instruments, Plugins, or audio Input

    5.   Set midi inputs and outputs in Sonar  to correspond with VEP5

    5.   Start making music

    Does this look right?

    My next issue is how to get Vienna Instruments Pro to open in VEP5.  Whenever I add an instrument it is still opening the old player.  Where can I set VI Pro as the default player?

    That order looks perfect to me.  I already answered your other question in the other thread.

    Thanks, I thought it was correwct but someone on the forum suggested they thought perhaps I was doing it wrong based on another post.  Thanks for confirming it correct!
