Sibelius Sound Sets and VI pro

Hi Andi, This may have been covered elsewhere but I haven't been able to find it.... Just loaded Vi Pro Presets for solo strings but Sibelius doesn't seem to be initiating articulation changes. Is there a new sound set I need to load? B.

I have forgotten to mention that you will always have to load the VI presets that come with the sound sets when you are using Sibelius as your host. Otherwise the articulations will not change correctly.

so load everything from the folder SS I+II - standard? and everything from the folder SS I+II - extended?

sorry Andi - I sped read your comment and my reply doesn't make sense - so I'll do that again,. What do you mean VI presets - do you mean as distinct from VI pro? so for my cello is it best to load: VC VSL Preset Level 2 (ext)?

Hi Rangi!

As far as I can see in our records, you have registered the Solo Strings I standard collection. So please load the presets from the folder "SS I - standard" that came with the sound set. These presets were made for the Vienna Instruments player, but of course can also be loaded with VI Pro.

The preset for the Solo Cello is called "Sib_SS_Cello_L1".
