Woodwinds I
Hi there. I just bought the Woodwinds I Standard Library, but I'm having a small issue. The manual says that there are 5 velocity layers for the Flute, but I have no idea as to which ones they are. I'm asking specifically if they are pp, p, mp, mf, f, ff. Can anyone help me out? Is there a different manual available that gives all of the detailed information regarding the layers?

There are up to 5 layers for the Flute, these change at velocity levels 1/25/56/89/109, so you cannot really describe these in terms of pp, mp, ff etc unless you divide these terms into 5 dynamics, such as pp, p, mp, mf, f.
There are no descriptions for the layers, as it would would rather ambiguous to attach a description to them, though I think it would be good if VI Pro actually displayed the layer number it was playing, especially when using the VelX slider, as although 5 layers is easy (because that is how the velocity meter is calibrated), but 4 or 6 layers are not so easy to remember where they come.
Does anyone else think a layer display would be a good idea? I am sure it would be easy to implement in a VI Pro update - as long as enough people think it would be useful.
