Ello everybody, I'm still getting a feel for how VSL works and got my first extended library today (Triple Horn) just to mess around a bit and figure it all out. The thing I'm noticing is that the Performance Glissando patch is only at one dynamic, which happens to be FF or FFF and therefore out of the range of the Legato patches. So I'm wondering how this patch is intended to be used--the only articulation that seemed useful for mixing with the glissando patch is just the sustain at a high dynamic. It's quite limiting to only have a sustain to pair with such a great-sounding patch. Anyway does anybody have any tips regarding getting optimal use of the Glissando articulations? And is it common among VSL instruments to have patches that cannot be used together due to their different dynamic ranges (aside of course from articulations which the instrument is physically incapable of playing at specific dynamics)?
