Recorder Mapping an Octave too high!!
I have recently purchased the new recorder download instrument ensemble. I do like the tone and sound of these recorders but I have noticed that when playing the soprano recorder the notes are mapped an octave too high. The bottom C on a descant recorder should be notated one octave lower that is played. I have not tested out the other recorders in the ensemble but I imagine it would be a similar problem. This is a real problem when composing in Sibelius as all the notes have to be transposed down an octave. Can this glaring problem be resolved?

Hi nigel2712,
Usually our instruments are mapped non transposed (when the playrange fits on a 88 keys keyboard). Best example are double basses, which are also notated one octav higher.
Of course you can transpose patches inside Vienna Instruments semitone wise or in octaves up and down. I don't know Sibelius that well, but usually you have also the option to transpose notation without altering pitch inside sequenzing and notation hosts.
best
