    They sound great!

    They make me long for a sampled lute for some reason... I hope VSL will sample one, one day! Medieval all the way.

    I don't know whether VSL should really go into Medieval etc., but pre-Romantic trombones ("sackbuts") would be really helpful for music outside big orchestral scores. Instruments like these can be used together with the existing ones to do e.g. Baroque music. - N.B.: The second audio demo is waaay better than the first if it's about getting an impression of the instruments (in their "natural habitats").
