Does anyone here know of good hammer dulcimer VST plugun (32 or 64 bit)? I can't seem to find anything out there on the web when I search.
Thanks,
Mike

I would love together the Boulder Sound set, but they don't see to come as VSTs, only specific sample types.

I searched for "Spitfire Dulcimer" and didn't find anything. Where is it? 😊

I just got a reply from the guy at Boulder who has he writes all his samples for Kontakt. I don't use that. I see there's a free Kontakt player. I have no idea if it would work with SonarX1 and all my VI software. Any thoguhts?
Mike
Spitfire dulcimer, being free, I reckon is what it is, cheap.
Bolder sounds' is 39.00 bucks (if I remember well). So, they had to do some work.
In the end, it's a matter of personal choice and taste.
Anyway, both (tiny) libraries need full Kontakt, not Kontakt player. Yet, I think one of my best buys was Kontakt.
Best,
Miki
Don't know of any VST dulcimer libs, but Cinesamples has a dulcimer or two in their 'Cinebells' library for Kontakt. The Bolder Sounds dulcimer set is pretty good too. My advice would be to pick up a full version of Kontakt as well, then you'll have the ability to purchase all kinds of smaller boutique specialty libraries. Most use full version of Kontakt since it costs the developer more (I believe), to go the Kontakt Player route.
