  • VEPRO not receiving MIDI/sending audio

    Hey guys,

This morning I opened up a project in Logic Pro I've been working on for a while. It has four instances of VEPRO loaded with Kontakt and a variety of samples. As usual, the VEPRO instances opened up automatically.

Except I wasn't getting any sound. The meters in Logic were moving, and the "play" button in the top left corner of VEPRO was working, so there was obviously a connection of some kind established. WiFi on both computers was off (as usual), and each instance of VEPRO within Logic was connected. I tried restarting the computers, and reestablishing the connections between the instances of VEPRO, to no avail.

I tripled-checked all of the routing and it was perfect. I have some audio tracks in Logic that are playing back just fine.

Oddly enough, I tried creating a brand new fresh instance of VEPRO within this same Logic session, and that one was working just fine.

I've already been having some problems (which you can see in a post a couple down from this one), and this one is the last straw to just make me say screw VEPRO and moving to a single powerful machine. I've loved this program for the past few months that I've been using it but disruptions to my workflow like this are unacceptable.

So, do any of you have any idea of how to fix this? I'd rather not rebuild my entire session as I'm not confident that this won't just happen again.

    Thanks.
