    Liebes VSL Team, ich habe folgendes Problem: bei meiner Verbindung über Ethernet wird jeweils beim anspielen der Sounds (egal ob von 3. Anbietern oder Vienna selbst) das Audiosignal für ein paar Sekunden unterbrochen. Die Verbindung läuft über die Gigabit Network Connection von meinem Mac Book Pro als Master zu meinem PC mit WIndows 7 Pro und wieder zurück. Das Kabel habe ich bereits ausgetauscht, da ich galube dass irgendwas mit der Konfiguration oder der Lan Verbindung selber nicht rund läuft. Habe auch versucht auf dem Slave PC die Firewall auszuschalten, was jedoch nichts bewirkt hat. Als Sequenzer brauche ich das Logic 9.1.7 mit der neuesten VE Pro 4 Version vom 07.10 2012.     Hello Nigamura,

    I´ll answer in the forum language: Did you make sure that your Airport is switched off on your Mac (so you are NOT streaming over Wireless LAN)?

    Also, have a read of this thread: http://community.vsl.co.at/forums/t/32230.aspx. In short, it seems that having a disc in your optical drive can cause these type of hickups.

    Hi Paul, yes I did make sure, that was my first thought :). I think it have to be something with the lan connection itself, but i'm not sure of course. Could it be something to do with the preferences? Thnx for your quick answer. Greez Nigamura

    Hello Nigamura,

    Of course it can have something to do with the preferences. Depends on your preferences.

    A working LAN connection is a system requirement for VE PRO, it simply cannot work without it.

    Of course. I worked with ve for 4 years and never had this problem. it was just plug and play. Now i have a new PC with WIndows 7 running and boom the hickups and the sottering started. I've red the post with the Freezeing Problem and I really had a DVD in the optical drive of my slave. After removing it, the problem's the same. I checked my Network Connections and they should be allright. So no solution so far. Greez

    Are you using Kontakt? The forum thread about the freezing mentions some things about that too.

    Hi, yes I'm using Kontakt 5 too. Along with East wests Play, Uvi Workstation and the Vienna Library. I removed the VST 64bit Plug in of Kontakt to see what happens when I start the VE without loading kontakt. and the problem is still the same.
