    Hi guys...I'm using Digital Performer 8 and in the bottom right corner of VEpro I see the tempo of my sequence and the latency.  

    The tempo is actually correct at 122 bpm, but the latency is wrong at 64!  My host is set to 256.  Is something wrong here?

    The latency displayed in the bottom right of VE Pro is not the same as your host's latency. This number reflects the latency introduced by plugins inside your VE Pro instance, or in other words, the plugin latency compensation.

    is automatic latency compensation now confirmed to be working with DP 8? i know that it wasn't with 7.24, but is that something that got fixed with the new update? that would be huge! also, now that DP can use VSTs as well as AUs, which version should i use to connect to my VE Pro Server instances? i currently have 16 midi channels routed to a server instance on my master mac pro, and 16 channels of midi routed to an instance on my slave PC. thanks! matt
