VE Pro 5 / VI Pro 2 volume
-
Hi greystorm [;)]
I just checked out the manual of VEPro5. It tells us:
Page 37: Parameter Automation
All parameters in Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 and its hosted plug-ins are now automatable from the master
host (up to 512 mappable parameters available), including touch automation. Control by MIDI CC is also
possible. In other words: We should be able to control each fader of VEPro with a midi CC...
Unfortunately the manual doesn't tell us clear enough how to manage these controllings. It seems to be solved with a "learn-function"
I would contact the support of VSL...
...or - even better - one of the guys can give us here in the forum a more detailed instruction.
I'm interested in this case as well!

hallo karel... thank you for your answer. the benefit? you can control vienna instrument thru vienna ensemble. and the faders in vienna ensemble are a little bit logical (in german: logischer ;-))... it works, if you connect the daw, ve and vi... so it has to work without daw too... have a nice day.. grey

I use an avid artist control. Does this now mean that when I move faders in Cubase, I could possibly get the corresponding faders to move in VEPro 5 and the two sets of faders would stay in sync? ThanksPage 37: Parameter Automation
