    Now that we have brass and strings... how about Dimension Woodwinds? [:D] [:P] [H]

    That's just silly! But I will take this opportunity to repeat my request for Clarinet 2. We've got two flutes, two bassoons, a few types of oboe to pull of multiple parts, but there's just one Bb clarinet. That's all we need to dimensionize our woodwinds. :)

    I've often thought about making a Dimensions Woodwinds type patch. How would this work, though? Any suggestion? There are far too many voicing options. You could easily make a preset for unions and common colors, but when you think about all the ways of voicing woodwinds it seems pretty impractical. It's the least homogenous section of the orchestra.

    A second Bb clarinet would be nice indeed! And maybe a second oboe. But imagine having the ability to (for instance) split the flute ensemble in 3 separate parts. For extra realism and flexibility!

    Anyway, we're already very spoiled with Dimension Strings an Brass It was just a thought. [:)]
