    Hello forums,

    I'm not sure if it's just me but in Brass I, the Trumpet doesn't sustain very long. Maybe only a second, before it drops.

    Does anyone else get this? My horns and other instruments all sustain longer before the player "runs out of breat" so to speak.

    Are you talking about the Performance Legato patch? If so, then this is the length that they played. Use a sustain instead, or a start note.

    I've had this happen when a long note follows a short note, and VI or VI Pro stays on the "fast legato" patch instead of switching to a longer legato patch (which sustains longer). The workaround is to change the Matrix Control X-axis from "speed" to a controller, and then tell the player to switch to a longer-sustaining legato patch. It's definitely more work, alas.
