    Hi , 

    Do both VIP and VE take advantage of quad cord processors ? 

    I think they are , but a confirmation would be helpful ?

    Also , the VIP and VE be running in stand alone mode ,

    Hi, DG thanks for the reply,

    But I really like to be clear :)

    VIP and VE both support four cores as well as multi-threading ?

    I will be buying a new MAc mini tomorrow, and buying the server, which has 4 cores i7 at 2.0 GHZ, in comparison, the Dual core i7 is 2.7 GHZ.

    So am guessing that the quad core will benefit the performance of both VIP and VE , specially to play at low buffer setiing,
