    I figured out the whole directory manager and library installer stuff and finally got the Upright Bass going. It sounds great!

    However, when I try to install the Jazz Drums, I get a dialog that says "A newer version of the Library Installer is needed..."

    Can someone tell me where to find a new version of the Library Installer?

     Did you run the Library Installer after downloading?  You can't just copy them.

    Yes, I got the Upright Bass working. However, when I run the installer for the Jazz Drums, I get a dialog that says something like, "a newer version of Library Installer is needed for this operation..."

    I have searched the web site and the forums for an answer to help me find the place to update my library installer, but I cannot find anything.

    I odn't know for sure, but I imagine that if you install the newest version of VI the newest Library installer will come with it.

    Problem solved. I was merely trying to run the Library Installer from the Vienna Instruments folder. Whereas I downloaded the latest update for the Vienna Instruments PRO, of course then it was not using that Library Installer.

    As soon as I used the Library Installer from the VIPRO folder, voila! it is being installed as I write this.....

    Everything is good at this point!
