    If one uses an instrument profile on the audio input, such as "Flute 1" and then inputs a recording of a Flute 1 sample performance that was previously recorded as audio into MIR  - will that be as good as playing back the actual samples in the same instrument profile?  Assuming it is a clean 24 bit, no EQ, no reverb recording.

    The result should be the same. Just be aware that the automatic "Guess"ing of the Instrument Profile won't work - you have to assign the proper Profile manually in that case.

     Thanks Dietz.  This adds a huge benefit for doing a mix on something that one only has frozen audio tracks for.
