I have just gotten a new MacBook Pro (with Lion), but lost my installation DVDs while I was moving to a new apartment. I moved my User from my old computer and have installed all the new software from the website. I have a backup file of the Folder Vienna Instruments Collection from my old computer on an external hard drive and have tried to follow the instructions for where to put the sounds, but I am not getting any sound whatsoever. Maybe I need to install the sounds using the installer from the DVDs, rather than copying the folder from my backup? I don't have them, unfortunately, even though I have my licenser key. Everything was working fine before moving to a new computer.
With my Sibelius Sounds, I was able to download all of the installers and sounds from their website. I haven't found a way to do this through the VSL website.
I am working with Sibelius 7 and own the 100 Special Edition.
Any advice?
