Hey VSL guys,
I mentioned this idea once before, but I definitely wanted to echo it again if you're in the midst of recording new sounds.
I'm in love with the flautando strings, and one of the effects I try to create is a full-string-orchestra "shimmer" or very quiet tremolo. So I wanted to throw out the idea again, that it would be reaaallllllly cool if you tried recordingfull string sections in each key, major and minor, doing a shimmery tremolo or flautando! I know it'd be a tough thing to pull off technically, but I'm imagining how wonderful it would sound to hear the "space" in a whole string section. What a great effect.
Anyway, I'm sure you've gotten lots of great suggestions, but keep it in mind!
Kerry
