MIR: How well does it handle spatial automation?
Can MIR PRO be effeciently automated in real-time for multiple sources? Is spatial movement fluid or does the system really only handle static sound sources? I am not familiar with how multiple IRs will effect a processor. Is it RAM intensive too? My new computer build will be: Custom PC, i7 3700 (Quad core 3.4GHz), 16GB (2x8) DDR3 RAM @1600MHz I also plan to use VEP to slave a Macbook Pro over Ethernet.

You can't move the location of sources to be played back in real-time? :( I want to automate spatial placement in a similar manner as using keyframes in animation or video (Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro etc.).

Blarghs. I was hoping this program would handle it, because the acoustic representations for depth are top notch. Would this be due to its IR as opposed to algorithmic architecture? Is MIR RAM intensive? If you know of another program that might do what I'm asking, please let me know. I was investigating IRCAM Tools SPAT by Flux, but apparently their automation is very buggy.

MIR is just not designed for what you want to do. It is designed to simulate people sitting in a room playing music. Every time you move an icon, it needs to re-calculate. SPAT is the only thing that I know that will do what you want. There are things that don't work as well as they should with SPAT, but the best thing to do is to try the demo for yourself.
