    I own Vienna Instruments Special edition Volume 1. I recently purchased a new computer and am trying to install the software. I've managed to see the same interface in pro-tools as a plug-in, but with no instruments. I've tried to re-load the sample library, but for some reason the library installer doesn't like any of my four library dvd's.

    I am running Pro-Tools 10 on a Mac, OSX Lion.

    If you backed up your sample drive on your old computer (which you should have done...!) you can just copy the sample data over to the new drive, run Directory Manager and all will be well.

    Thanks. I have done as you suggested. I open the directory manager, tell it what directory to look for, but then if I close it, that directory is not saved somehow. When I re-open the directory manager, it's as if I never told it where to look, with nothing on the list, thus still not seeing my libraries in pro-tools. Any further suggestions for this new problem?
