    Hi everybody,

      I just upgrade Mir Pro with the latest version (august 4) and my Finale file won't recognize Mir when open the file (MUS.); it says that I have to update the slave as well. I don't have any slave and both server apllication and  MIR pro are running on the same computer (Win 7). I rolled back on the previous version from June and everything is ok. Just to see if everyone know what's to be done to make it work .

    Sounds like somehow something went wrong with your installation. Try installing again, making sure that nothing related to VE Pro is running (no plugin hosts of any kind either).

     Hi Karel,

    Thanks for the fast reply. I reinstalled everything and closed each and every application which could be a posible host plug in, but no results. The same error occurs every time. Tried to paste the priunt screen here but did not work for some reasons.

    Could you check the version number on both the VE Pro plugin and the VE Pro Server application? The version number of the plugin can be seen by clicking the top part of its GUI (where it says "Vienna Ensemble Pro Server Interface"). If they do not match, something is wrong with your installation. Most likely you've manually moved either the plugin(s) or the server application and are therefore starting the old version of either.

    Hi Karel,

    Thanks again for your help. They both ve pro plug in and ve pro server share the same number. I'll try a fresh of win 7 since I planned this "action" many weeks before. After that, I'll keep you informed if the problem persists.

     Hi Karel,

    Just wanted to give you the good news that evrything worked perefectly. Probably, I did something wrog with the instalation..or windows  was getting old ..:)
