    I have SE and SEplus collections (not extended) and in the orchestral strings articulations there is a legato and (in the plus articulations) a perf rep legato. What is the difference between them? I play them both and don't hear any difference. Thanks arpyg

    Legato (in VSL terms) means that they recorded the transitions between all intervals within an octave. Repetitions mean that they recorded the transition between multiple performances of the same note.

    For the repetitions, is holding the sustain pedal the best way to use them?
