VSL & Sibelius 5.2.5

Hello, I am using Vienna Chamber Strings with Sibelius 5.2.5. I am having problems gaining smooth legato from each instrument. (string Quartet). I have loaded the sound sets into the relevant folder and am using the legato patches in VE for each instrument. This may be a Sibelius problem but the smoothness is not there. I have the latest Sound sets from the Vienna website. Sibelius can recognise the VE soundset in playback configuration. Any ideas?
