  • VSL instruments and multichannel config in cubase and RME 9632

     Hello,

I try to configurate a multi output with VSL and cubase, I just have the stereo output.on your VSL instruments there is 1/2 3/4 5/6 7/8,

but if 1/2 can be listen, the VSLs assigned to other output can't be heard, how to process ???

Things are I wanted to have as output different audio channels as :

one for the strings, one for wwinds, one for brass one for percussions.

of course a Cpr demo is welcome[;)]

    Thank You[:P]

  •  Are you talking about Vienna Instruments or Vienna Ensemble? In any case in Cubase you need to enable multiple outputs for VSTi, if you want more than one stereo channel.

  •  Thank You for fast answer,

I am talking about Vienna instruments, i use thems without vienna ensemble, which for me, take less place than using within V ensemble.

To enable multiple outputs in cubase is still a great mystery for me as , as well as the RME which have many analog output but only one stereo is working...

  • I'm sorry, but I don't really understand your question then. Vienna Instruments doesn't have multiple outputs. Vienna Instruments Pro does, but these are used for specific purposes.

TO enable extra outputs in Cubase, go to the VSTi rack (F11), load your multi timbral instruments, click the little black icon to the left of the name, and click on whichever outputs you want.

If you are talking about physical Outputs from Cubase, you need to investigate the VST Connections panel (F4) and in particular the Outputs and Studio tabs.
