  • Key switche locations ( note) and transpostion

    Hi,

Some times I need to traspose a performance .

I send a transpose from my controler , Now all the key switch location are moved as well,

is there a way to set the location to stay still regardless to transposition value ?

    thanks .

  • Do the transposition in the Vienna Instruments player.

    DG

  • I cant, I am layering several instrument hardware and software,

I wish if there is a command to control note shift ,

Further more, In the edit tab, The Octave can be changed + or -, but the note shift can only be in the + direction .

    Hi mazeka,

You seem to work in very special ways. My suggestion: Before you transpose, duplicate the MIDI track, erase the Keyswitches in your "music" MIDI track, erase the "music" MIDI in your Keyswitch Track. Done.

So you just need to adjust the octave transposition accordingly. This has already been explained in this forum, IIRC.

  • Hi,

I looked into that, still, in order for that to work the Key switch needs to be set to a different midi channel,

So, say zone 1 midi 1 plays the notes, this zone can be transposed

zone 2 midi 2 controls the key switch, has its own traspose parameter and its not affected by zone 1

Now that I think about it, I think there would be many bebefits to assign the key switch to recieve input from a different midi channel from the same port .

    Is that possible
