  • is there a way to assign a patch cell or a matrix to momentary key switch ?

    Hi,

Is there a way to do that ?

    Thank you.

  •  It would be easier if you explained in more detail what you are trying to achieve, because it is not clear from the question.

  • Hi, DG,

What am trying to do is...

say iI a, playing a matirix the includes slow legato, and fast legato controled by speed control.

now and using a momentarry key swith I can swith to say Trill, and when I let my finger off the key it reverts back to the last used matrix in this case legato .

  • Not as such, but there are circumstances where you can set certain patches to play by velocity, which will obviously only trigger when you hit that velocity in your playing. Of course you would need to control, timbre and volume using a continuous controller in that case. Would that do what you want, as I assume that you would be using Velocity x-Fade for your legato patches anyway?

  • Yes I do use Xfade, Am hooked on Xfade LOL :)

I think We need a brain CC to control Xfade just by thinking about it :)

I tried other controlers , non really do what am looking for,

I think it would good idea to implement few other creative controler, such as momentary KS,

or I with for trills, to be activated when hold down two notes to tell VI what trill interval to play, For example, C and C# will play Half trill, C and D will play whaole ... and so on..

So another cool cell controler would be playing two notes ....
