Anybody is willing to give me an advice for buying an SSD drive for my Mac Pro?
it is for a 2009 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac pro.
Here's the Serial-ATA specs:
Intel ICH10 AHCI:
Vendor: Intel
Product: ICH10 AHCI
Link Speed: 3 Gigabit
Negotiated Link Speed: 1.5 Gigabit
Description: AHCI Version 1.20 Supported
I need around 400GB of spaces for my samples.
I was thinking of two 240GB drive because its cheaper than a 512GB.
And It chould be faster to store my sample accross two drive.
Should I check for 3G or 6G SSD?
Looks like my computer is limited to 3G but can I put a 6G in it in case I buy a new computer in the futur and keeping the SSD?
What other specs or brands should I check?
Thanks for any help
