    Im unable to launch logic in 64bit mode, it hangs on 'searching for audiounit plugin AUnetrecieve'

    No such problem on 32 bit, but memory issues make this more challenging

    A couple of posts on other forums have suggested it may be related to using vienna software. 

    This may, or may not be true, but has anyone here had any issue with this?

    I have this issue regularly, with or without VE Pro or other VSL products installed. It seems to be a bug in Logic 64bit. What I usually do is just force quit Logic when this happens and restart it. It will always just work after that.

    I never had this error message, my Logic runs in 64 bit too

    Did you had a look in the Auvalidation table  if  "aunetrecieve" is there !

    It could be also a problem of Permissions

    Thanks karel/cyril,

    having surfed around a while on this, it seems to affect some people and not others.

    force quit/restart doesnt work for me im afraid, it always hangs there. 

    Repaired permissions....

    Someone suggested reinstalling logic 9.1.7 update, that worked once!

    Tried trashing audiounits file, no joy there.

    It appears on the validation after trashing. 

    Im gonna try a fresh Logic  install this weekend and see if that works
