Hello,
I wonder if there is a way to crossfade 3 or more articulations.
Ex: violin tasto sus; pont.trem; trill 1
to do tasto sus.; pont.trem it's ease, but the third?
any idea?
thanks
Roberto

Hi,
Cell Xfade can only be applied between 2 slots in a cell, that´s also trur for the new Vienna Instruments and also Vienna Instruments Pro. To get even more Xfades, I´d start to build this third step with audio files.
Vincent: Vibrato and non vibrato patches work quite well with ensembles. Simply give it a try [;)]
Best,
Paul
Paul - it is true that crossfade can only be applied to two slots in a single cell -
but it is quite possible to assign more tracks to the same MIDI channel and then adjust articulations on each so that they in effect create a mega crossfade ensemble of articulations. I am also thinking that by adjusting the shape of the response curve of the CC used for crossfading one could create a single controlled articulation that could fade between more than two. I have not tried this but with the adjustable envelope shapes might it not be possible to have a sound fade in then out between min/max CC and thus create more than two zones of effect?
This would be an experiment though.
