  • Re-Loading VSL Solo Strings

    Hi,

I'm rebuilding my PC aftger a catastrophic occurrence that caused me to have to re-install the Win7 Pro OS. As a result I'm having to re-load all of my programs from scratch. I put in Disk 1 of my VSL Solo Strings library and it told me "Could not find VSL binary installation. Please install main package before installing content."

I have no idea what that means. I'm guessing this has something to do with the license. But my VSL key is installed, I've got my license and activation codes. But I'm hitting a brick wall right out of the gate. I did not remove the dongles when I used the Paragon Image app to reset my computer. But Nuendo started up just fine! It asked for the key. I reset the key. Nuendo saw it and launched. But no such luck with VSL. Can anyone here help me figure this out so I can get my program re-installed?

    Thanks!

    Hello Keyplayer,

Please make sure that you are using the latest eLCC and ALL the latest VSL software.

If you have your sample content still available, simply copy it to your new computer. Then open the Directory Manager and drag this folder onto it. Here is a video on how to use the Directory Manager.

If you DON`T have the sample content available anymore, please insert DVD#1 of your collection, then launch the Library Installer and follow the instructions for installation.

    Best,

    Paul
