I have test driven the demo of VEP5 with Sib6 and like how I can get my whole orchestra on one mixing screen, but not sure I want to buy MIR with the high exchange rate on the CDN dollar right now. Seems to me after the demo MIR ecpires, VEP does not have a way to position instruments, so buying to replace VE it is a little pointless. Am I wrong?

What happens to VEP after MIR expires?

Hi thomamd!
As I have seen in our records you have already registered VEP 4. So you probably know the most important additional features of VEP in comparison to VE:
- Network capablities
- 3rd party instrument hosting
- Preserving opened instancesAmongst other new features VEP 5 adds the hosting of MIR PRO, full ITU surround support, the Event Input plugin for hosting more than 16 instruments in one VEP instance in Logic, Sibelius and other hosts which are not VST3-compatible.
Best regards,
Andi
