  • How to set up a Glissandi matrix

    Hi.

The other day I played with LASS , one featured I liked was the switch to glissandi based on velocity.

I know I have Glissandi for the violins only :( in orchestral strings,

Am trying to achieve similar result with one cell,

    Cell-1 Performance Legato

    Cell-2 Performance Portamento

    Cell-3 gliss

We have gliss G, D, A and E, And those from what I understand alow you to choose the finale resting note, unlike Octave Gliss, is just that octave wont be using that ,

Now the magic question, is how to be able to play all gliss without having to remember which one to use,

Is there a way to have them all ready and when the corrcst interval is triggered , the correct gliss plays ?

    Thank you

  • So far, I used all 4 slots 1a, 2a ,3a, 4a, for the three string gliss,

what would be the ideal  range setting for each slot  so that they do not play as a layer and more important authentic articulation

You have to decide which one to use, because VI can't know what string you want to start on, unless you tell it. A Performance Glissando already plays the correct interval though, so I'm not sure what you're getting at here.
