    Am giving a Ensemble software a try. The first thing I noticed is that when I open a new imnstrument, the old VI opens up , Am I missing something

    Also, I wish If the VI pro had an FX insert, with out having to open a host or the ensemble.

    Hello mazeka,

    as soon as a VI PRO license is available and VI PRO is actually installed, it will show up in Vienna Ensemble.

    Always make sure to use the latest VSL Software.

    VI Pro already includes a reverb and a power panner for each slot, I don´t think that any additional fx will be included, as VE and VE PRO are optimized hosts to do this job.

    I do have VIP licence, and still get the old player

    I can run VIP stand alone or within cubase

     You have to installe VI Pro after (or again after) installing VEP
