The out of memory error message is wrong, I have plenty of memory on the Mac. The only plug in I am using is VEP5.
This happens under some conditions and I'm trying to fugure out why.
I believe the error message is a generic message reported by the OS or Logic when it doesn't know what else to say.
It happens with large templates., but not always.
I would love to isolate the cause of this.
Are 'certain conditions' that you've done some deleting and reloading and your machine's been on a while? And rebooting gets rid of the problem?

so you must mean that it's your only plug in Logic.
the multiport workaround has some complications.
Decoupling means Logic is not charged with remembering what's loaded so that could obviate it, but I don't know. Coupling is not as clean a way to approach using VEP IME.
I have the same problem since years (Mac pro with logic and two slave PCs). VSL was never able to figure it out. At some point a was just annoyed. Since then I use VEpro standalone, IpMidi and audio via hardware. I NEVER want to return to VEpro taking care of ausio and midi, since it took me so much of my lifetime to figure it out without any result. I just wish, VSL would allow using the servermode without audio over lan enabling hardware audio. However - in spite of multiple requests to make it happen - they already told, they won't support that in the near feature. Basically, I could use Plogue Bidule for the Slaves, if it weren't for MIR ...
