    Hi there! I' having problems with different types of articulation, especially staccato. I use the Vienna Symphonic Library which comes with Kontakt 5 (from Komplete 8) in Cubase 6.5 on a Windows 7, 64 bit version. The main problem is, that legato lines work without any difficulties (excepted fast lines...) but if i switch to staccato, the strings do play different each time I press the play button. The system doesn't play the notes that are written... I would say, they get "lost". If I look at the vst and disk performace this shouldn't be the problem because there is enough headroom (vst) and not even an amplitude (disk). I tried everything in my mind to solve the problem but It didn't work. Thanks a lot for your help! Best Kevin

    Hello Kanudel, 

    That sounds like a problem in Kontakt with the samples - as these samples have been mapped and organized by the Native Instruments team, the best idea is to contact them directly. 

    I´d also include some information about the setup you are using (soundcard, latency, CPU, RAM...)
