  • Cracking and popping sounds in logic with VEP 5

I just bought VEP 5, When i set up a simple Multi Computer set up, the audio that i hear sounds choppy at times with pops and clicks, i checked my slave computer and the plugging is taxing 2% of the computer and barely using the Disk so it can't be what it usually is, Any Ideas? Thanks

  • Mac ? PC ?

did you set fixed ethernet address ?

  • Master is Imac 27 I5 Quad Slave Macbook Pro I7 late 2009 And can you explain what you mean with the ethernet address i don't know what that means or how to do that, maybe thats the issue? Im currently using my verizon FIOS wifi device and my iMac is connected directly through ethernet to the modem and my Macbookpro is just on the wifi, same network. Thanks for the response btw

  • You should connect your Mac with an Eternet cable and look at this

  • Wow that worked perfectly, sounds are gone!! thank you so much brother, Quick question, what are the advantages of using VE Pro locally rather than loading the plugging inside of Logic?

Better memory sharing, less stress on CPU
