  • VEPRO 5 will not launch - ELicense

VEPro will not launch do to the following:
    elicensor Control - Message

The license for application "Vienna MIR" will expire soon

Duration until expiration: 1 hour 30 minutes 35 seconds
I just updated to the latest build (5.0.17308) hoping this issue has been resolved.  Another post indicated that this is a bug only
for users on Snow Leopard.  The workarounds in the same post do not work on my setup.
I only purchased VEPRO 5 and have no interest in MIR at this time.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi athafran,

Please make sure that you are using the latest eLCC and ALL the latest VSL software.

We have updated the copy protection, so all parts (protection software and the protected software) need to be updated! After this, please restart your computer, and everything should work just fine!

    Best,

  • Thanks for the reply Paul.

Updated both the ELicense and VEPRO 5 to the following builds

    ELicencse: eLC Version: 6.3.6.1098

    VEPRO 5:  5.0.10738

I then did maintenance on the ELicense, repaired permissions, shut down the computer three times.

When launching VEPRO 5 I get the same message:

    eLicenser Control - Message

The license for application "Vienna MIR" will expire soon.

Duration untll expiration: 1 hour 21 minutes 30 seconds

I do not want to upgrade to Lion. What steps should I take next?

    Thanks,

    athafran

  • I am also having a problem with the ELicense Online Synchronization.

    Updating eLicenser License Database

A communication problem occurred while accessing the license server.

Step 1: FAILED (Updating eLicenser License Database)

    All other steps OK.

However, after three attempts I got it to process.  But I am doing again at this moment and step 1 failed again.
